Come join Nacera on this yoga class! It'll take place on Tuesday, from 8:15am - 9:15am, on February 21. There will be a limit of 10 people per class so sign up soon.

Practicing yoga during work hours provides an opportunity to find more focus, energy, and a better ability to handle stress throughout your workday.  By combining a challenging, yet playful approach, Nacera encourages students to learn how to listen to their own needs in their body. Once we learn to take better care of ourselves, we become more available to others and their needs.

All levels are welcome, just be open to play and have some fun with it! Please remember to bring your mat and positive energy with you!

About your Instructor

Nacera Mekki has been practicing yoga for over 9 years. Her training was completed with Forrest-trained teacher, Les Leventhal, and she continued her education with Kerri Kelly. Her passion for anatomy and correct alignment has brought her to the physical therapy world, where she assists physical therapists by healing patients while incorporating Hatha yoga principles as prescriptive exercises.

With a Bachelor's degree in both Biology and Psychology, Nacera hopes to bring more awareness to people on the nature of the connection between the two fields and how those apply to our daily living. She is highly committed to translating yoga into an accessible and relevant practice both on and off the mat. Her creativity and playful attitude infuses every class providing an enriching, meaningful experience.
